del.icio.us – Social bookmarking
January 7th, 2006 by Pascal Alberty
Del.icio.us is a social bookmarking site.
Part of the new web generation applications/philosophy (called Web 2.0) allows you to keep your favorite web sites and categorize them using tags.
This seems a “deja-vu” service, but Del.icio.us also allows you to share these favorite links with other people.
Finally, and because all favorites are shared, you can discover new things, new web sites which are favorites for someone.
As you can see, with the help of a little Del.icio.us wordpress plugin, you can add this blog (see on the right) or this post in your favorites and share this information. I add a little picture found here to make it more user friendly then a simple text link.
See my “begining” Del.icio.us bookmark here
