Eric Clapton in concert at Antwerpen Sportpaleis
June 1st, 2006 by Pascal Alberty

Yesterday (May 31st), the respectable guitarist Eric Clapton produced a great show in Antwerpen. Blues, Rock, Pop, new songs, old songs (Layla, Cocaine, …), some accoustic version (taken from the faboulous MTV Unplugged album) composed this evening.
I found him a little bit “closed” (always playing solos with closed eyes as usual) with a minimalist public contact (sometimes a “Meurrci bowcu … Thanks you”) … and only a extra song.
But with many musicians (1 trumpet, 2 saxo, 1 bass, 2 guitars + him, 2 keyboards, 2 chorists and 1 drummer), song and show quality was there. This blond hairing guitaris was really amazing during its guitar’s solo (may be more impressive then Eric sometimes).
A good concert which I give 7.5/10.

Ete 67 and Louise Attaque Concert at Bruxelles
March 27th, 2006 by Pascal Alberty
We (my wife and I) spent a musical evening at “Forest National”.
After a really good first part handled by Ete 67, Louise Attaque comes to present it’s new Album “A plus tard crocodile“.
It took some (too much) time to have a good sound (shame on sound engineers). First, it was not possible to hear the violon, then the voice was too low, the main guitar looked like to be nowhere … But fun was there for the old songs either then for newest ones !
Not a really great concert, but a bad one neither.

Machiavel in Eghezée
November 27th, 2005 by Pascal Alberty
Machiavel (my wife, my friend Pelot and me) were in “Le Centre Culturel d’Eghezée” last evening for a short but sympatic concert.
Excepted main titles like “Fly”, it was a discovery evening for me. Pleasant, sometimes too noisy (no, I’m not too old for this kind of music
), it was very funny !
